Julia decided to get her ears pierced...

So, David and I from the very start of being parents agreed that we wanted our children to make the decision of getting their ears pierced.. We did not feel like it should be our choice.. The past two weeks Julia has been asking if she could get her ears pierced.. We finally agreed and felt like she was really ready and so last night we took off to the mall to get her ears pierced...Here are some shots from our fun filled night... Enjoy!!

Julia was nervous and watched every move the girl made..she constantly asked questions.. "What's that?..What are you doing?..."

Julia was soooo brave.. I thought it was great how they now will pierce both ears at the same time.. Now, why in the world did they not do that when I was a kid?? Less traumatic!

Of course there were tears involved.. We busted out the mirror so Julia could see her ears pierced and distract her from the initial pain.

A kiss from mom.. I was so proud of her. She really did great!

The girls striking a pose for the camera..

Julia checking out her pierced ears while I was shopping..

Dont ask!! This is what happens when you leave a man with a camera in Victoria Secret..I guess David thought she looked better with his hat on :-)

Her ears were a little red afterwards.. She decided to go with December's birthstone for her first pair of earrings..

Leigh's Maternity Session

Last weekend we shot Leigh's maternity session.. Her husband, Barrett, was a trooper and agreed to join her in the shoot. It was a gorgeous day and we had a blast with them.. Leigh is due in a few weeks and looks absolutely amazing!! -Amy

I was taking this shot while David was shooting the picture to follow..I think it is such and interesting picture..
I look at it and wonder what Leigh is thinking about in that moment.

People always say that pregnant woman have a "glow" about them and I must say that is the case in this picture..
The sun is casting such an awesome luminance around Leigh..

Emily's Bridal Teaser

This past weekend we had two awesome sessions. Beautiful weather mixed with beautiful people is the perfect ingredients for...well,... BEAUTIFUL PICTURES!!!!

We met that morning with our bride Emily. We were doing a mostly indoor bridal shoot at a beautiful home only a couple minutes down the road from our house. We arrived and Emily was in the final stages of preparation for an hour or so in front of our lenses. This was cool because we wanted to get set up, scope the place out, and pretty much rearrange the entire house...ok, not the ENTIRE house... just the foyer, sitting room, and dinning room...well not all those rooms, but it felt like it...

We had a great time!! This was our second session with Emily (our first was their engagement session) and she surprised me again with her casual demeanor and sense of humor. Emily is really fun to work with and we all had a great morning.

Naturally, we are only posting a teaser from the Bridal session here for now...more to come after their wedding date!

Greenville Wedding Festival

We had the privilege of setting up a booth at the last Greenville Wedding Festival of the season yesterday. We really want to send a special thank you to Mark and Colleen.. The success of the Wedding Festivals allows us to meet so many amazing brides face to face and plays a major part in the success of our business.. So, thank you Mark and Colleen!!!

We also wanted to say to all the brides that stopped by our booth that is was really great to meet you and we look forward to working with some of you!! We had a raffle in which 3 brides will win $200 off any of our bridal collections and we will be making the announcement in a few days via email....so be on the look out :-)

We were in a great location and wanted to mention The Flower Box.. If any of you brides have yet to find a florist, you need to check them out here. They were in a booth beside us at the wedding festival.. They are a family owned business and they are all great.. We really enjoyed working side by side with them all day.. check them out!!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week.....
